RESEARCH AIMS AND OUTPUTS:
The purpose of this research project tender is to carry out a Systems
Mapping research study of the services provided to children, young
people and families in Tipperary Town. To encompass health,
well-being, housing, care, education, training, employment/income,
poverty, and arts and culture. It is expected appropriate stakeholders
with a remit for provision of services to children, young people and
families will be engaged with throughout the research process,
particularly regarding the visioning of a service model. This will be
supported by the Tipperary Town Revitalisation Task Force. It is
expected the process will involve a participatory research
methodology.
The aim of this research study is to:
a). Build a deeper understanding of the gaps, duplications, strengths
and opportunities of services and agencies serving the town. This
would entail understanding the current system, what is the nature of
services in place, what are their budget trends and resources,
identify apparent gaps and strengths and the linkages between services
and the continuum of services.
b). Build a strategic direction of what funding supports are required
and where to leverage such funding streams for the benefit of the
revitalisation of the town.
THIS SYSTEMS MAPPING RESEARCH STUDY WILL IDENTIFY:
* What an ideal joined up/co-ordinated system would look like
* What resources and funding it would require
* Be informed by best national and international practices
* Identify a development model with short, mid-term and long-term
actions to build this model of service, which will be outcome focused
* It will also identify a monitoring and evaluation process to
capture outcomes and service needs for children, young people and
families for Tipperary Town.

* Research/ Consultation proposal.
* Include a link to, or copy of, a sample of past work that is
similar in content and/or style to the above outputs.
* CV with at least two references.
